Nasim Dhanji created her famous Pili Pili (Swahili for 'chili chili') hot sauce to give her own food som extra spice.When friends and family started requesting that she supply them with more of her ‘wonder’ hot sauce, sisters Nasim and Shelina realized that they had a powerful food product on their hands.Indeed, they did.Not only did friends and family continually request bottles of their hot sauce, their Pili Pili wonder became a hit amongst their customers as well.What initially started out as a simple home-made experiment has now grown into a thriving company, Nana’s Kitchen & Hot Sauces, Ltd. The two sisters are hard at work, producing more sauces and gourmet items to add to their growing frozen food product line. Furthermore, they've been highly successful at getting their products into a variety of retail outlets. So far, their audience has been warmly receptive and both sisters anticipate more growth for their company. Not bad for a little home-made flavour!!
